
Michaela. The fabric reminded me of this Michael Kors dress. So I made this one, with some changes. (The drama of the Kors dress was in the front, with the intricate pleating. On mine, the drama is at the top with the high collar.) I also did a raised waist to eliminate the need for a belt. I still named in Michaela, as a tribute to Kors, one of my favorite designers.

Lola. This darted halter dress has both movement and structure. The ruffled hem detail is hand stitched. Perfect for a lightweight or midweight wool blend fabric like the slate gray crepe shown.











Michelle - as in O. Sleeveless, mint green cotton broadcloth sundress with purple, orange and brown floral design. Inspired by the current First Lady. Pleated at waist and gathered at the knee to create a paper lantern-like effect. Side zipper. Scoop neck.
